Learn How To Read Music – I think one of the most exciting things I learned when learning to play guitar was learning how to read some music.
If I could have played by ear way back in the 70s when I first tried I would likely have never quit. That’s why it’s so cool that they include software to help with learning to play by ear. Today I can sit down with my guitar and even though I have to work at it I can learn to play the songs by listening.
